About the Founder

A Life Beneath Her Mantle

Joseph Shun Mendoza Ravago is the founder of Litany of Mary and Sub Tuum Praesidium, devotional projects dedicated to honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary and encouraging souls to draw closer to Jesus Christ through His Mother.

From a very young age, Joseph Shun Mendoza Ravago was placed under the protection of Our Lady. He has often reflected that the Blessed Virgin Mary has always protected him and his family, and that she has been truly a mother to him.

Under the title of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Joseph Shun Mendoza Ravago entrusted his studies, examinations, and professional life to her intercession. He gives thanks for her help in passing the Certified Public Accountant examination and the bar examination.

For more than thirty years, Joseph Shun Mendoza Ravago has led the Wednesday Rosary and Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help and served the Mass that followed. This weekly devotion became one of the central pillars of his spiritual life.

He also holds special devotion to Our Lady of Peñafrancia, patroness of Bicol in the Philippines, the province of his father's heritage, and to Our Lady, Undoer of Knots, whose intercession remains part of his daily prayer.

Joseph Shun Mendoza Ravago created this website as an act of thanksgiving: a small offering to the Blessed Virgin Mary for her protection, guidance, and maternal love.
